Project Goals

This project, created by our student Daria Korneeva, is designed as both an educational product and a practical research base for child-centered AI interaction.

  • Strengthen narrative thinking: beginning, conflict, resolution.
  • Develop richer vocabulary through guided story prompts.
  • Train children to express ideas in complete, coherent phrases.
  • Support reading motivation through ownership of created stories.

Interaction Goals

  • Provide a safe and structured AI dialogue for children.
  • Encourage multi-turn conversation instead of one-shot generation.
  • Make planning transparent before final text generation.
  • Keep parent and child collaboration at the center of the workflow.

Portfolio and Institutional Goals

  • Demonstrate end-to-end engineering competence in a real-world scenario.
  • Show how our college students build socially meaningful AI products.
  • Create a reusable foundation for future educational AI projects.
  • Provide a live showcase of student work with measurable impact.

Success Indicators

  • Children complete multi-step story plans without losing engagement.
